Steven commenced his career as a lawyer at Bell Gully before moving into investment banking, working for Macquarie Bank in London.

Since returning to New Zealand in 2002, he has specialised in mid-market M&A transactions working for PwC, Northington Partners and most recently as a consultant investment banker. Steven also has more than 10 years of governance experience across multiple directorships of substantial commercial entities, including The New Zealand Automobile Association Inc, Marlborough Lines Limited and Care Group Limited (current Chair). He is also an investor in a number of successful private businesses.

Steven is a member of the Investment Committee.
